Ninewa’s Telaskuf Christians prepare for Christmas celebrations

The Christian community in the town of Talaskuf, 30 km north of Mosul, the provincial capital of Ninewa have completed their preparations for Christmas and the New Year, decorating Christmas trees and making traditional food.

Telakuf, predominantly populated by Christians, is home to two churches: Mar Korkis and Mar Yaqub, in addition to other sacred sites.
