Numerous social media pages are sharing news about a supposed surgery called testis replacement, which claims replacing testits of old people with testits of young donors, claiming that it can enhance men's sexual abilities.
This has led many people to question surgeons and experts in the field of impotence.
Fact Checking:
Hiwa Abdulrahman, a specialist in prostate issues, male infertility, and sexual dysfunction, stated to KirkukNow: "There is no such surgery as testicle replacement. It is not true and it is not successful because of the numerous scientific obstacles. Even operated, it is not true that it will boost sexual ability."
"Sperm carries an individual's genetic traits, and transferring it to another person would not allow it to function or adapt. The cells responsible for sperm production cannot adjust to a new environment," he went on.
Dr. Hiwa emphasized that in cases of testosterone deficiency, treatment and medication are viable options, rather than resorting to testis replacement surgery.
